Vehicle Description This car is a great example of Beauty and the Beast At car shows I get many compliments on the beautiful Deep Cranberry Pearl paint job.
But the professionally built, high performance engine has tons of tire spinning torque.
This car is a true muscle car lover's dream.
The car has a clean California title.
Features include:
Power steering, Power brakes, Front disc brakes, Line lock, Front bucket seats, Power windows, Factory 14 Super Stock II sport wheels with Goodyear Eagle ST tires, Auto Meter tachometer, Center console with Hurst Dual Gate shifter, Dual hood scoops, The car has a push button AM-FM radio but currently has no speakers.
In 1998 I had the car's body work and paint done by a well- respected local body shop which specialized in classic cars.
The car is always garaged.
In 2003 I had a 455 CID Olds engine professionally built by TEM Machine Shop in Napa, CA.
The builder, Rich Oliver, was a student of Joe Mondello.
The invoice for that build is included in the photo gallery.
The engine components were magnafluxed.
The connecting rods were peen shot.
The engine was balanced.
Engine components include 12.
0 compression Probe forged pistons, Engle camshaft, Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Demon 800 CFM carb.
The car also has Hooker competition headers, Magniflow exhaust system, high torque mini starter and a brand new MSD digital electronic ignition.
Although the engine was built approx.
20 years ago it has fewer than 2,000 miles on it as it is rarely driven.
The transmission is a TH 400.
The tranny was prepared by and installed by Mondello Performance Products of Paso Robles, CA in 2015.
Mondello's is the go to place for Olds performance products.
The tranny has heavy duty clutches and a heavy duty flex plate.
They carry a lifetime Mondello warranty.
The rear end is a 3.
23 ratio positraction.
The engine oil, transmission fluid and brake fluid have all been changed within the last 100 miles.
I am glad to answer any questions you may have.
