Production Data Specialist (Temporary)

Job Summary:

Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and manipulation of master production data, report creation, and routine data checks, while contributing to the success and improvement of the production Supply Chain's performance.


Essential Functions:

  • Generate Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) data.

  • Create and maintain components and finished goods materials in SAP.

  • Create ancillary and supporting data.

  • Development of analytical tools to efficiently engineer, manage, review, and maintain data.

  • Participate in the bill-of-material review team.

  • Perform multiple, regular, routine data checks.

  • Assist in the review, maintenance, and management of New-Package and Product-Change forms.

  • Responsible for understanding Quality Management System related activities, including the quality policy and ISO awareness.

  • Ad hoc projects.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, Associates degree required.

  • Years of Experience: 2 or more years' experience in similar role

  • Previous experience with SAP, master data, or ERP systems a plus.

  • Advanced computer skills in SAP (or equivalent ERP system), MRP, and Excel.┬  Visual Basic experience a plus.

  • Advanced skills in data manipulation and analysis.

  • Strong math and analytical skills essential.

  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.

  • Experience/knowledge of wine, wine production, and the wine industry a plus.

  • Must be able to work to meet deadlines on multiple tasks at any one time.


Working Conditions:

  • May be required to work at any one of TFE's locations.

  • Some weekends may be occasionally necessary

  • Occasional long and irregular hours.

  • Office environment.

  • Extensive computer work.

  • Frequent deadline pressures.

  • Numerous projects in progress at any given time.

  • Fast-paced/high volume workload.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
